I'm off to New York city, skipping out my return flight. We'll see if I can make this work.

I'm leaving all this old work behind and I finally have a running theme with my new work. Soon I will feel confident to share. Painting is hard, anything that would take you a week now takes for months. Color is like a new dimension and oils are slow. But the better I get at handling the medium that faster I will be able to work. So I started a few drawings to ease my imagination while I patiently lay down the layers.

My car broke down the morning after I drove dearest ~gidragirl to the Amtrak to move to NYC. I just decided that without her, my life in the south was totally pointless and I was wasting time and energy trying to motivate myself to study in a place I hate. Plus I will be staying with my boyfriend. <3

I'll see how things pan out. I'm nauseous but that's to be expected. One more week.
